I'm Bridget Daly for CLevverMusic, and with the VMAs taking place this coming weekend, we're breaking down our picks for the top five moments in the show's history. There's been a lot of great moments, but we could only pick five, and coming in at #5 is Kid Rock and Tommy Lee. In 2007, the two exes of Pamela Anderson both attended the awards, and ended up getting into a little punching match that ended with Kid getting cited for misdemeanor battery. Yep, all over Pam Anderson.... Our #4 fave moment is from 2008, when Sacha Baron Cohen, in full character as Bruno, repelled from the ceiling down to Eminem, where the two met face...to butt cheeks. The world was abuzz for days after the show wondering whether Em was in on in or not because of his priceless reaction. But we ended up finding out later it was all an act. The infamous kiss between Britney and Madonna goes down as our number 2 best moment, simply because it was so unexpected. The only way that smooch would have been more epic would be if the ladies had made it a three-way. Our choice for #2 is Gaga's onstage speech in the meat dress alongside Cher where she even had Cher hold her beefy purse. Other costumes Gaga donned that night pale in comparison to the meaty deliciousness of that get-up. And our number one pick goes to Mr. Kanye "I'mma let you finish" West!
