Lead singer Gordon auditioned for, and won, the part of "Shaggy" for the stage adaptation of "Scooby Doo" but never took it up out of loyalty to the band. Michael, the bassist, is actually left handed but could not afford a left handed base. 3 years ago, he underwent an operation in Switzerland to have his hands amputated and switched round. This allows him to play less expensive right hand guitars and hitch-hike backwards. Daniel Swan is the group`s main axe man. Nothing to do with guitars, he likes to relax between gigs by cutting down forests.He has a lip ring, an ear-ring, a nose ring, a ring tone, ring piece and a bionic haircut. Voted least likely to walk through an airport scanner and not spark a full scale shutdown. Tom Tyrrell...as wide as he is tall, is the only one in the group whose name is ancient Norse. It means "slayer of chocolate biscuits". Once , with two broken legs , he managed to operate the kickdrum for the entire gig by strapping his bokkan to the pedal...then looking from a foto of Pamela Anderson to another of Gordon Smith over and over very quickly.
